Blocked port - How to unblock (Windows)
To list the port usage:
netstat -aon
Take the PID
taskkill /PID [pid] /F
Port unblocked
Archiving: Windows 7 Boot - 1 CPU? Why?
In Microsoft’s wisdom they make your computer boot with only 1 CPU.
Now this is fine if your pc only has 1 CPU but if you have a dual/quad core pc, why not use them ?
To improve load time go to:
Start > Run > msconfig > Ok > Boot > Advanced Options >
Tick the number of processors box
Select 2/3/4/x processors
Click OK
Click OK
Done.

Just recently i’ve started looking into addon programming, just small little applets to either make my life easier and quicker or to help other people with the websites I help on.
I have recently seen how insecure these addon’s really are, when Mozilla ask if you trust the author I feel you really MUST trust the author OR go through all their code to check they haven’t anything malicious...

So the MoD have had the following stolen:
1) Ration packs - yeah easy to put in a bag and walk out.
2) A clarinet - ok a pretty small item to steal.
3) Guns - Not much bigger than a clarinet but I would of thought these would have to be signed out and back in?
4) A ships anchor - Getting bigger but still possible to put in a car I...
